IRELAND – CORK CITY

Cork City is one of Ireland’s hidden gems — a small but vibrant city filled with friendly locals, cosy pubs, live music, and beautiful countryside nearby. Known for its relaxed atmosphere and traditional Irish charm, Cork is a great option for dancers wanting a slower-paced work environment while still having the opportunity to earn good money and experience authentic Irish culture.

From exploring colourful streets and local markets to enjoying warm pub fireplaces during the colder months, Cork has a very welcoming and community-style feeling compared to larger European cities. The city is also perfectly located for weekend adventures around Ireland, with stunning coastlines, castles, and nature spots all within easy reach.

This club is best suited to experienced dancers, especially girls over 25 who prefer a more independent and relaxed style of working. Management is extremely laid back and dancers are trusted to work for themselves without pressure or constant supervision. The environment is friendly, mature, and supportive, with a mix of local dancers and regular international travellers.

Unlike larger clubs with strict stage rotations, this venue allows dancers much more freedom. There is no fixed stage schedule — dancers simply choose their own songs and go on stage when they feel ready. The focus here is more on hustling private dances and building connections with clients in a natural way, making it ideal for dancers who dislike overly controlled club environments.

The club itself has a very traditional Irish pub atmosphere, with older-style interiors, cosy lighting, and even a fireplace burning throughout the winter months. While the décor may feel old-school and a little rustic, many dancers enjoy the relaxed and authentic vibe of the venue.

Accommodation is located just a 5-minute walk from the club, making daily life extremely easy and convenient. Dancers usually share rooms with 2–3 girls per bedroom. The accommodation includes a full kitchen setup, bathroom and shower facilities, washing machine, dryer, bedding, and storage space for travelling dancers who regularly move between countries for work.

Travel to the club is simple, with taxis from Cork Airport costing approximately €15–20, or alternatively dancers can take the airport bus into the city for around €3 and walk approximately 10 minutes to the accommodation.

The club usually operates with around 10 dancers during weekdays and 12–15 dancers on weekends. Quieter months are generally February, March, and April.

Private dances completed before midnight are paid directly to the dancer in cash on the same night. Private dances after midnight are recorded and paid out every Monday evening, with weekly accommodation costs deducted before payment.

For dancers wanting a more independent club experience with friendly staff, flexible working conditions, and the chance to experience traditional Irish culture, Cork is a fantastic and highly underrated option.
